NPDES Permitting

Decota can prepare entire Clean Water Act, Section 402 - Construction Stormwater National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit application packages for approval by the WVDEP prior to the start of a construction project. As part of the NPDES permit application process, we can draft Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Groundwater Protection Plans (GPP), and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC). We can also develop Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, propose the appropriate Best Management Practices (BMPs), perform Stormwater Runoff Analyses (SWROA), and generate the required phase and location mapping for construction projects.

Additionally, Decota staff are Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Our qualified stormwater managers and are certified to conduct the required NPDES site inspections for an ongoing project to maintain compliance with a contractor’s construction stormwater permit.
